Frequently Asked Questions Q: I have broadband Internet. How can I disable the dial-up account? A: Click the Apple on the Menu Bar. Click System Preferences. Click Network. Beside Show, click the blue up/down arrow. Click Network Port Configurations. Uncheck Internal Modem (Note: You may have to click the yellow lock to make changes). Quit System Preferences.
