Frequently Asked Questions Q: I have an older iBook. Can I upgrade the hard drive inside? A: Of course, your iBook and the other Apple portables use a standard 2.5" notebook drive. It's not something we recommend the normal user take on, however. The upgrade requires that the iBook be almost completely torn apart. It's best left to a qualified Apple Technician. Back to F.A.Q.
