Frequently Asked Questions ![]() Q: How do I run a trace route from my machine (Windows)? A: When having trouble connecting to your website or email, it would be helpful if you could run a trace route from the computer on which you're having the problem and include it in your email to [email protected]. The trace route indicates the path taken between your PC and our servers. On windows: 1. Click the Start button and then click Run. 2. Type in cmd and click OK. 3. Type in: tracert (type domain or IP address here with out the brackets) >>C:\trace.txt 4. After the trace completes, go to My computer > Local Disk and view the file trace.txt in Notepad. 5. Copy and paste the text into an email to [email protected]. Back to F.A.Q. |
